Qantas Data Breach: What It Means and How You Can Stay Protected

In June 2025, Qantas released the new that cyber criminals hacked into a system used by tehri call centre, directly affecting 6 million clients. The stolen data includes names, emails, phone numbers, and frequent flyer numbers. Importantly, no financial data or passwords were stolen.


Qantas was prompt in their efforts to cease the attack and is partnering with cybersecurity professionals and government officials to investigate accordingly. They have now introduced a support line to assist customers affected by the breach.
